Training & Education

We are passionate advocates for training and education in the field of music and music therapy and believe in providing as many opportunities as possible, to spread music’s influence throughout the community.

With that view in mind, wherever possible we like to build capacity in parents, staff, carers and educators and we recognise the need for people to feel confident and resourced to do this.

We offer a wide range of workshops and professional supervision/education forums including: training and education workshops for healthcare professionals, carers, families and support staff, team building workshops, professional development and clinical supervision.

Our music training and education programs are highly regarded and focus on practical skills, music skills, music for health and well-being, industry and/or specific health-related issues (such as dementia, autism, behaviour management, inclusion of special needs, and engagement).

Creative Connections

Our Creative Connection workshop will guide the participants through the various strategies available for them to enhance the quality of life and well-being of people who have disabilities through music.

It is underpinned by the belief that anyone, irrespective of the level of ability, can interact through, and engage in musical experience.

The workshops are facilitated by Registered Music Therapist with extensive experience conducting music therapy for children and adults who have different levels of needs.

While we occasionally offer open public workshops, we most often work with organisations, schools or community groups to tailor content to their individual requirements.
