Community Assistance Program Presentation

A huge thank you to Penrith City Council for the grant that enabled us to purchase new cameras to record our sessions. Steve Gunther, our Engagement Manager went along to the Community Assistance Program Presentation.

Unlike other disciplines our therapists can't write notes while they play and sing during our music sessions, the cameras play an integral role in recording and tracking the progress of our clients.

Says Nordoff Robbins Registered Music Therapist Kate Tabain: " Our ability to record our clients sessions has a two fold benefit. We are able to review the sessions afterwards and very closely track the progress of our clients while at the same time allows us to concentrate wholly on the session without the need to make notes on the run".

We are grateful for the support which enables us to transform lives through music.
