How we fundraise

Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy Australia does not currently receive any State or Federal Government funding. As it takes a minimum of $750,000 each year to run The Golden Stave Music Therapy Centre and all its services, we rely heavily on the generosity of the corporate sector, the music industry and individuals to help us raise the money needed to keep the Centre operating.

We are always looking for new ways to raise money. Our current fundraising program includes –

  • Events
  • Annual Appeals
  • A Bequest Program
  • Workplace giving
  • Corporate Donations
  • Individual Donations
  • Memberships
  • Program and Event Sponsorship
  • Fundraising on behalf of Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy

We are keen to ensure that as much of the money we receive goes directly to helping children and adults who have been isolated by disability, trauma or illness. We endeavour to operate in such a matter that the maximum percentage of all donations goes directly into providing music therapy services.

We are always exploring other avenues of raising the funds we need to continue work. Find out more about This email address is being protected from spambots. Our dedicated fundraising staff – Nicci Gow and Rebecca Hedger work closely with the Fundraising & Events Committee and the Penrith Fundraising Committee. The individuals on these committees volunteer their time and expertise to help us meet our fundraising targets and we are very grateful for their continuing support.
