Over the years it has been successfully used as a therapy – a way to reach beyond barriers of isolation and disadvantage caused by illness, disability and other circumstances. More recently music has been employed in the corporate world as a medium for team building.
“Music for Team Building” is a group interaction using live music. It is very suitable for inclusion in a conference or integrated as a workshop into team building / staff development days. The length can vary from 30 minutes to 2 hours.

Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy works in partnership with the University of Western Sydney, to train the next generation of music therapists. Students complete the Master of Creative Music Therapy a two-year, full-time course much of which is conducted from Australia’s only purpose-built Music Therapy Centre, on the Penrith Campus of the University of Western Sydney at Kingswood.
