Who said the financial markets industry weren’t musical? This is an event that features gigs for bands, comedy skits or lip sync acts from within the financial markets industry.

Enough money was raised from Market Rock 2004 to continue funding the position of a music therapist in the oncology ward of the Children’s Hospital at Westmead. Through the success of Market Rock 2005, we were actually able to add another part-time position to the music therapy department.

Funds raised from the 2006 event, proudly presented by ICAP and held on Thursday 13 July 2006 at The Basement to the largest crowd ever, will continue to support music therapy at the Children’s Hospital, Westmead in 2007. We managed to raise over $35,000 which is a fantastic result.
