Qualifications necessary














The course is open to applicants who have either a:


  • Bachelor of Music or Music Education (or equivalent) of at least three years duration from a recognised tertiary institution; or a

  • Tertiary qualification (or equivalent) in an allied health field such as special education, teaching, psychology or nursing

A high standard of practical musicianship is required for the course. It is preferred that you have the skills equivalent to 8th grade AMEB on your first instrument and at least 5th grade on the piano (if this is not the first instrument).
