Jenny Morris together with Nordoff-Robbins Music therapy are delighted to once again bring one of Sydney’s most unique and dynamic fundraising events, Art of Music, to the Art Gallery of New South Wales on Saturday, 2 June, 2012.
From the overwhelming success of the inaugural event in 2006, Art of Music has become one of the most anticipated events on the calendar and is a bi-annual event which combines the mediums of visual art and music. Ten prominent contemporary visual artists from Australia and New Zealand come together to create a uniquely music inspired exhibition with each artist choosing an iconic piece of Australian music, using it as inspiration for their own original artwork, culminating in the Art of Music Charity Auction and a sumptuous Gala Dinner, with some very special guests and live entertainment.

This event is a Tenant’s Voice initiative supporting a charity that assists people with disabilities in our community. The Tenant’s Voice is made up of Hume Tenants who meet monthly to discuss housing issues that affect all tenants. Nordoff-Robins Music Therapy was chosen after a Hume Tenant witnessed the effect music therapy had on two individuals. This story was shared amongst the group and the group made a decision to support the charity.
To register for the walk please read and complete the Registration Form.
